Seventeen and Strong
Tomorrow is our seventeenth wedding anniversary. Yes, Dave and I have been married that long!
The past two years, with us both working full-time and parenting a toddler, have been some of the most challenging of our lovely marriage.
Challenging in the very best of ways because they have laid bare the solid foundation we built in the early years. And I am left feeling deeply grateful for the man I married. Happy Anniversary, Dave!
Now I’m going to show my age by including a YouTube clip of “our song” — In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel, sung here in the early nineties with Youssou N’Dour. Our favourite version.

What a classic, and a special version I agree.
Certainly a welcome diversion as I sit here in the early hours of the morning watching our beautiful mountain burn , thanks.
Congrats on the 17 years.

I stand, lost in admiration at all you guys have achieved in the past 17 years and in awe of your ability to multi-task.

Happy Anniversary.
