Apron Strings and Other Lovely Things
Some time back I came across Skinny laMinx, the personal blog of Heather Moore.
Heather lives with her husband and cats in Cape Town where she works as an illustrator, writer and designer. She sells her stunning aprons, pillows and tea towels at various markets and shops and through a range of online stores.
I love the bright, clean simplicity of her designs and appreciate the patience it must take to create the fine cut-out work she does.
Looking for an unusual and yet practical gift? Capetonians can find her at the Night Market at the Old Biscuitmill in Woodstock.
Overseas folks (and South Africans not in Cape Town) can find her goodies at her lovely online Etsy store.
