You’ve Got Mail

Canada PostcardEver wonder what Omaha, Nebraska or Kobe, Japan look like?

In a couple weeks, I’d like to do our first eLuckypacket postcard swap. I think there are enough of us reading from countries all over the world now that this could be a lot of fun!

How would it work? You send me an email or post a comment. I’ll put all the names in a hat, draw out two at a time and then send each person their partner’s email address. Then you can swap addresses and send each other a real-life postcard from the city where you live.

We’re not the first to do this. Postcrossing is a website dedicated to postcard swaps — take a look at their amazing postcards on Flickr.

But I thought it would be fun for us to do this and limit it to eLuckypacket readers.

So, fair warning … it’s coming up soon. Get out your pens and stamps, ladies!

Can I play even if I live in Cape Town? I’d love to receive something other than bills in the post! And I’ll choose a really nice postcard.

    If so, sign me up!
