Easter at Our House

It is the hour to rend thy chains, the blossom time of souls.
~Katherine Lee Bates
Happy Easter and belated wishes for those of you who celebrated Purim last week!
We spent Easter Sunday yesterday with Dave’s sister Trish (eLuckypacket reader!), who was visiting with her family. Tau loves haves having his teenage cousins Greg and Jess around to play soccer with him and do Thomas the Tank puzzles (thrilling for them, I’m sure!).
It was so hot here today that the Easter Bunny had to drop his eggs off very quickly after brunch and we had to run out and find them right away or they would have melted into globby, gooey little messes.
By the way, I’ve started a shared eLuckypacket Flickr pool, which we can all post to … but more about that in coming weeks.
Right now, I’ve added a bunch of our Easter Sunday pics to the pool. If you have Easter or Purim pictures you’d like to add, let me know and I’ll sign you up as a member but as I say, I’ll post a bit more about the Flickr pool in coming weeks. Have a great week everyone!
Update Monday: Ugh! For some reason non-members can’t see the pictures I posted. And I can’t figure out why. Will try to fix this ASAP!
Oh, that delicate bud vase in the photo above? An SAA wine glass that made it into our hand luggage somehow after a flight home from SA twelve years ago now!

I have a porcelain Salt & Pepper set that somehow found it’s way into my luggage.
Happy Easter to you and your family too.
