Friday FREE Giveaway! Six Cherry Handbag Organizers!
Cell phone, make-up bag, wallet, iPod, hairspray, comb, hair elastics, lip balm, notebook, pen, nail polish … massive bunch of keys.
Credit cards, chequebook, library cards, medical and auto insurance cards, the seven-year-old dog-eared business card with my husband’s social-insurance and driver’s license numbers on it. Some grimy looking chewing gum. The list goes on.
Needless to say, even though I have four or five handbags, I only use ONE of them. A stylish new red leather job that, alas, doesn’t go with much but I love it. When I turned 40, it was cheaper than buying a red sports car!
I only use one bag because the thought of transferring all my crapola every day is daunting!
Enter the Cherry Handbag Organiser™, a flexible, waterproof fabric insert that fits neatly into your handbag to hold the kazillion items you can’t live without.
The outside pouches hold cell phones, sunglasses etc, the side pockets hold business cards and the miscellaneous bits and pieces that usually collect at the bottom of your bag. And the large central cubby can be used to hold purse, keys, cosmetics etc.
In case you drop your bag, spilling the contents, there are also a few secret pockets on the inside of the organiser for those discreet or embarrassing items. Like the silicone nipple shield I found in my bag a few months back … I haven’t nursed my son in over two years!
Not only does the Cherry Handbag Organiser make it easier to find stuff, it really makes the swapping of bags an absolute breeze! Just lift the whole insert out and pop it into the new bag!
Here’s the sweet part … Karen and Connie from The Cherry Brand are giving away handbag FREE liners to SIX eLuckypacket readers – three in the US or Canada and three in South Africa. Isn’t that delicious?!
There’s only one thing more wonderful than a practical, stylish product like this … and that’s a FREE practical, stylish product like this!
And I’m going to make it super easy …
Simply visit The Cherry Brand’s website and take a good look at their beautiful liners, which come in small, medium and large … and black, grey and cherry red!
Then come back to eLuckpacket and leave a comment on this post telling me:
- The most useful item in your handbag
- The most useless or embarrassing item in your handbag
- Which country you live in (sorry … South Africa, US and Canada only!)
I’ll leave comments open for a whole week — lots of time to send this on to your mothers, sisters, colleagues and girlfriends. Then next weekend, we’ll do a random draw and announce the six lucky winners the following Monday. Sound good?
So, what you waiting for? Go check out the Cherry Handbag Organiser … and then rush back and tell me what’s in YOUR bag!

The most useful thing in my bag is my tweezers,I ruined a pair once by pulling a broken key out of the ignition.
The most useless thing in my bag would have to be a little wooden block that my sisters baby dropped in our car.
Great stuff by the way, hope to win.

1.Most useful item: mp3player/voice recorder. I’m a journalist and use it for recording interviews and events, and it doubles up as a soundtrack-provider for when I do eventually make it to the gym.
2.Most useless/embarassing item: piles of shopping receipts which I never seem to get around to sorting and discarding.
3. South Africa

1. The most useful item in my bag would have to be my cell phone, I couldn’t live without it!
2. Most useless would be the sachet with the dried out wet wipe in it, that I picked up at Spur at least a year ago!!

1. Most useful item has to be my cellphone. I never leave home without it.
2. Most useless is a small collapsible hairbrush which I never use as it is too small for my hair (or should I say my hair is too thick for it) but I don’t take it out because I KNOW the day I take it out is the day I will need it!!
3. South Africa
What a fabulous idea! I only use 1 handbag and it is usually a pretty boring looking 1 because it has to have numerous pockets and compartments as I hate a messy handbag. I also never transfer all my stuff to another bag, way too much trouble.

1. Most useful item is my credit card, swipe, swipe and we have happiness all around.
2) The most useless is my Garmin Sat Nav I am supposed to leave it in the car, not really sure how it ended up in my handbag but living in JHB I put my bag in the boot, cant exactly help me find my way in the shopping center.
3) South Africa

The most useful item in your handbag:
My money of course! How else could i buy fabulous cherry handbag organisers!
The most useless or embarrassing item in your handbag:
The tag showing that my handbag is an original and not a cheap knock-off! I like to pull it out when questioned whether i am using the real thing or not! Pretty useless in retrospect!
Which country you live in (sorry … South Africa, US and Canada only!):

1. My cell phone is my most useful item in my purse. I’ve run out of gas twice in the past couple of years and if I hadn’t have had my phone with me, I would have been sitting there for a very long time (the first time was with icy roads and snow… I live in Texas…what are the chances of 1) it snowing, and 2) running out of gas on that day of all days?
2. The most useless item for me would be a tampon. I had a hysterectomy two years ago!
3. USA…Happy 4th of July!!
July 4th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
1. Most useful item would have to be my Mariah Carey perfume and lipstick combo - with a mirror.
2. I would have to say the most useless would be the stir sticks I brought home from Coco’s in Los Angeles when visiting Disneyland in March - yes, 4 burgers, and 4 sticks!
3. Canada
July 5th, 2008 at 2:55 am
1. The most useful thing would have to be a safety pin…there’s one in all my bags.
2. The most embarrassing…I hate to say this, but I have a mini perfume spritzer for when I uh-hmm have to go to the bathroom in a store and I leave an unpleasant smell behind.
3. I live in the US
This product is great! I hate emptying my stuff into other purses…I like that you can just pick this up and move it.

1. The most useful thing I have in my handbag is bandaids, never know when I or the kids will need one!
2. Most embarassing thing? It’s gotta be the bulky feminine pads I keep just in case! They have fallen out so many times, but I just keep them in there!
3. I am from the USA! Thanks for the giveaway!

1.The most useful thing in my handbag is my wallet. It holds all my cards, my license, and a little money.
2. The most embarrassing thing would be panty liners.
3. I’m in the U. S.
July 5th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
1. My cell phone as it holds all my appointments.
2. A small nivea sample cream which at the time sounded like a good idea to put in my handbag but I never remember it’s there and so it stays there and is thus not very useful.
3. South Africa
July 8th, 2008 at 9:42 pm
Most useful = Cell phone, except when I leave it at home by accident like I did yesterday.
Least useful = Starbucks card with no $ left on it.
I’m in the U.S.

As the inventor of “Le Pantechnicon” I’m not even going there!!!
July 9th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
Yes. My mother knows better than to try and tame what lives in her handbag … stuffed-fullest handbag in the Southern Hemisphere! I kid you not! Cherry Brand would have to make a special edition — just for her!

Not sure if the giveaway is still open…
Anyway:
1. I would say my most useful and treasured item is my BlackBerry cellphone. I discover new uses on it all the time.
2. Most useless item is probably all my old till slips.

1. The most useful item in my bag is of course my wallet that holds everything from credit cards to my address book. I would be lost without it.
2. The most useless item I have in my bag is my 24hr gym membership card I never use. If only I can find a way to fit my gym clothes in there, then I’ll be set…haha
3. United States

1. My keys. All tagged. Without them I’m lost (and locked out). All entangled: house-, office- and safe keys.
2. My chequebook-holder. It’s empty but reminds me of the good old days. Should probably throw it away…
