About eLuckypacket

Remember your first luckypacket? The thrill of seeing what was inside?

eLuckypacket brings you a little surprise every morning …

… an excerpt from an outstanding new novel,
… a preview of fresh style from South Africa’s new designers,
… a recipe for golden crunchies, the way your granny used to make them!

Or perhaps what strikes your interest is a comment from one of our readers — a glimpse into how other South-African women work, live and play all around the globe, every day.

eLuckypacket searches out unique news, products and services on the Internet and brings them to you in daily blog format, Monday to Friday.

We hope you’ll come to read us every day. We hope you’ll love our unique mix of fun, great new ideas and helpful resources. We hope you’ll share us with your best friend in London, your mom in Port Elizabeth, your soon-to-be sister-in-law in San Francisco.

Yes, we hope to build that kind of community.

How to Read Us Every Day

There are three easy ways to get your eLuckypacket every day:

1

If you read news and blogs on the web, subscribe to eLuckypacket’s feed by adding it to your RSS reader. If not and you’re already a Google fan, see Aimee’s simple instructions on RSS and setting up Google Reader. You’ll be glad you did!

2

Add eLuckypacket to your Bookmarks toolbar (Firefox and Netscape) or your Links toolbar (Internet Explorer). That way our home page is just a single click away! To do this, click and hold the eLuckypacket icon on the Address bar, drag it to the Bookmarks Links bar (usually just below the Address bar) and then release it. (Click to see illustration.)

3

If you’re the kind of person who likes to file things away in folders and subfolders, add us to your existing Bookmarks (Firefox and Netscape) or Favorites (Internet Explorer). Neat and orderly, we agree, but it does require a few more clicks to find us every day.

About the Editor

Sue with son TaueLuckypacket is edited by Sue Walsh, born in the sleepy blink-and-you-miss-it dorp of Oberholzer, South Africa, now driving slap-bang in the middle of the fast lane in San Diego, California.

A professional writer, wife and mom, Sue believes you can handle most things with a pinch of sarcasm, the support of a good man and a perpetually full glass of red wine.

Her vices include yoga, dark chocolate and an extra 15 minutes spent in bed every so often. You can reach Sue with your thoughts and suggestions at editor@eluckypacket.com.
